In the highlands of Northern New Hampshire you will find the duo,

"Mountain Streams Music," Jane Wilcox Hively and Jonathan Hively. 

Listen To This! Jane has a lilting mezzo-soprano voice

and plays guitar and Celtic Harp.  Jane's resume

She has been called... "a rare treasure" - Conway Daily Sun

Jonathan plays Highland and Lowland Bagpipes,

Hammered Dulcimer, whistles and musical saw. Jon's resume

Jane and Jonathan decided on the name, "Mountain Streams Music,"

after living near the melodious Swift River which flows through the beautiful Mt. Washington Valley

in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, USA.

Their music is Celtic, Classical, Folk, Popular and Original.

  They give delightful music and lecture-concerts about Celtic culture,

teach harp, singing and bagpipes privately and record CDs.

The New Hampshire Music Festival, The Cape Cod Summer Concert Series,

Harvard University, Phillips Exeter Academy, Marlborough House at Buckingham Palace,

St, Kieran's Arts Series,The Maine Scottish Festival, The Boston Museum of Science,

The Victorian Tea of Parsonfield and The Fryeburg Fair

have all welcomed these two fine artists!

Jane Wilcox Hively studied Voice at Boston University, Schiller College at Strasbourg, France,

The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England and The Gaelic College at Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

She teaches privately, records numerous CDs, has written several books on Voice, Harp and performs extensively. 

Jonathan Hively studied at University College-Galway in Ireland, The Gaelic College at Cape Breton,

Thomas Edison College and Capital University in Bexley, Ohio. He played with the Capital City Pipes and Drums. 

Besides piping for special occasions, recording CDs, lecturing, teaching and giving concerts, Jon works as a networking specialist in his own business, "The Computer Man."
