This latest CD, "Irish Companions" is dedicated to her parents, who recently celebrated thier 60th anniversary by visiting Ireland. This fine recording features performances by Hively of Celtic tunes as rich and lush as the Irish landscape, featuring her on vocals accompanied by her flawless harp playing. The 14 selections range from a stunning version of Danny Boy and the sprightly "I'll Tell Me Ma" to the rollicking "Whiskey in the Jar." Hively also pays tribute to the late Tommy Makem, who also made his home here in New Hampshire, by offering a rendition of his composition "Four Green Fields."
